๐Ÿช This Bourbon Biscuit Tray Bake is a no-bake dessert combining a crunchy biscuit base with a rich chocolate fudge topping.
๐Ÿซ It’s a quick and easy treat perfect for satisfying sweet cravings without turning on the oven.

  • Total Time: 3 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 16-20 servings

Ingredients

– 450 g biscuits crushed for the base

– 8 whole biscuits (separated into 16 halves) for the topping

– 150 g butter melted

– 397 g sweetened condensed milk (120 ml portion for the base, with the remaining portion for the topping)

– 250 g milk chocolate (or substitute with 250 g dark chocolate or 300 g white chocolate)

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) and warm the 8 whole biscuits on a baking tray for 3 minutes to soften the filling. Carefully separate each into 2 halves, making 16 halves total, and set them aside.

2-Line an 8ร—8-inch square tin with baking paper to prepare for the base.

3-Crush the 450 g biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or blender, then mix thoroughly with the 150 g melted butter and 120 ml of condensed milk to form a wet dough.

4-Press the mixture evenly and firmly into the bottom of the tin to create a solid base.

5-Break the 250 g chocolate into pieces and melt it in a saucepan with the remaining condensed milk over low heat, stirring constantly until glossy and smooth.

6-Pour the chocolate fudge topping over the biscuit base and spread it smoothly.

7-Arrange the 16 biscuit halves decoratively on top, for example, in 3 rows of 5.

8-Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or freeze for 1 hour until fully set.

9-To slice cleanly, dip a sharp knife in hot water, wipe it dry, and cut into squares or bars.

Notes

๐Ÿ“ Precisely measure the condensed milk: use 120 ml for the base and reserve the rest for the topping.
๐Ÿช Warming whole biscuits before separating softens the filling and prevents breakage.
๐Ÿ”ช For clean slices, dip the knife in hot water and dry it thoroughly before each cut.
โšช When substituting white chocolate, use 300 g for better setting.
โ„๏ธ Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to one month.
