4 eggs

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup oil

1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese (softened)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups confectioners sugar

1 tablespoon milk or cream

1 cup melted caramel chips or caramel sauce

1 1/2 cups sugared cranberries (optional)

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325ยฐF (163ยฐC) and grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan to prepare it for baking.

2-Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt to mix the dry ingredients.

3-Mix wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, and vanilla extract to create the wet mixture.

4-Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until fluffy, then add eggs two at a time, mixing well after each addition.

5-Combine mixtures: Alternately add the dry flour mixture and the milk mixture to the creamed butter, stirring until just combined to avoid overmixing.

6-Bake the cake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

7-Cool the cake: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before turning it out to cool completely.

8-Prepare the glaze: For the glaze, melt the caramel chips if using, then mix with the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add salt, vanilla extract, confectioners sugar, and milk or cream as needed for the right consistency.
