– 1 large head green cabbage (chopped, about 6 to 8 cups, fresh preferred)

Instructions

1-First, heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and sautΓ© the chopped onion, carrots, and garlic for 3 to 5 minutes until they soften.

2-Then, push the vegetables aside and brown the ground beef without stirring for 3 minutes, before flipping and browning for another 2 to 3 minutes.

3-Next, break the meat into pieces and mix it with the vegetables. Add the chopped tomatoes, broth, Italian seasoning, black pepper, cabbage, and salt, then stir everything together and bring to a boil.

4-Reduce to a simmer, cover the pot, and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cabbage wilts.
