πŸ₯© This Philly Cheesesteak Tortellini recipe combines tender steak with savory cheese for a deliciously creamy meal.
πŸ§€ It’s a quick and satisfying dish perfect for anyone craving rich flavors and comfort food in one pot.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 1 teaspoon olive oil

– 1 package (4 count) sirloin steaks or thinly sliced steak

– 1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips

– 1/2 onion, sliced into strips

– 1 1/2 teaspoons steak seasoning

– 1 package (19 ounces) frozen cheese tortellini

– 1 pint heavy cream (half and half can be substituted for a lighter sauce)

– 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

Instructions

1-Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a large sautΓ© pan over medium-high heat to start your cooking adventure.

2-Place the steaks on one side of the pan and the peppers and onions on the other side for even cooking.

3-Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons steak seasoning over the steaks and vegetables to add that savory flavor.

4-Cook the steaks according to package directions and the vegetables until they are crisp-tender, which takes just a few minutes.

5-Combine the cooked steak and vegetables in the pan to mix the flavors.

6-Add 1 package (19 ounces) of frozen cheese tortellini and 1 pint of heavy cream to the pan, then bring it to a boil.

7-Reduce the heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking if you’re using fresh tortellini, cut the time to about 5 minutes to reach the right internal temperature.

8-Once the tortellini is cooked, sprinkle 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese over the top.

9-Re-cover the pan and heat just long enough for the cheese to melt, creating that gooey goodness.

10-Serve immediately for the freshest taste, and enjoy with your favorite sides.

Notes

πŸ– Leftover roast beef or thinly sliced steak can be used instead; add it when combining the tortellini and cream.
πŸ₯› For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half and half (sauce will be less rich).
🌢️ Adding crushed red pepper can provide a spicy kick.
