– 1 pint heavy cream (half and half can be substituted for a lighter sauce)
– 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
Instructions
1-Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a large sautΓ© pan over medium-high heat to start your cooking adventure.
2-Place the steaks on one side of the pan and the peppers and onions on the other side for even cooking.
3-Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons steak seasoning over the steaks and vegetables to add that savory flavor.
4-Cook the steaks according to package directions and the vegetables until they are crisp-tender, which takes just a few minutes.
5-Combine the cooked steak and vegetables in the pan to mix the flavors.
6-Add 1 package (19 ounces) of frozen cheese tortellini and 1 pint of heavy cream to the pan, then bring it to a boil.
7-Reduce the heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking if you’re using fresh tortellini, cut the time to about 5 minutes to reach the right internal temperature.
8-Once the tortellini is cooked, sprinkle 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese over the top.
9-Re-cover the pan and heat just long enough for the cheese to melt, creating that gooey goodness.
10-Serve immediately for the freshest taste, and enjoy with your favorite sides.
