– 2 tablespoons Calabrian chili paste

– 1/2 cup white wine

– 1 (24 oz) jar tomato purΓ©e

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano

– 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping

– Freshly cracked black pepper, as needed

– Salt, as needed

Instructions

1-Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

2-Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, and 1/2 cup of cocoa powder thoroughly.

3-Add wet ingredients: Stir in 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup of vegetable oil until batter is smooth.

4-Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean.
