Instructions
1-In the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker, combine the 10.75 ounce can of cream of chicken soup, the 10.5 ounce can of French onion soup, 1 packet of au jus gravy mix, and Β½ cup water. Stir everything well to mix the flavors.
2-Place the 4 cubed steaks into the slow cooker, making sure to coat them thoroughly with the gravy mixture for even cooking.
3-Cover the slow cooker and let it cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, allowing the steak to become incredibly tender.
4-To thicken the gravy, whisk 3 tablespoons of cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl until smooth, then stir it into the slow cooker.
5-Mix everything well, return the cubed steaks to the pot if you removed them, set the slow cooker to high, and cook for another 30 minutes until the gravy thickens just right.
6-Serve the dish hot with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles to complete the meal.
