Ingredients
– 1 small onion, sliced
– 1 bell pepper, sliced (half red and half green for color)
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking
– 1 lb round steak, sirloin, or venison steak, sliced very thin
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon corn starch
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
– Dash salt and pepper
– 3 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
1-First Step: Prepare all ingredients by pre-slicing the steak and vegetables; keep them separate.
2-Second Step: Mix the marinade ingredients (2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon corn starch, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, dash salt and pepper). Pour over the sliced steak and refrigerate until ready to cook.
3-Third Step: Mix the glaze ingredients (3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon corn starch, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar) together and set aside.
4-Fourth Step: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced vegetables and cook for 3-5 minutes until starting to brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
5-Fifth Step: Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for 5-7 minutes until starting to brown.
6-Sixth Step: Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet with the steak. Add the prepared glaze and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring, until the sauce thickens.
7-Final Step: Remove from heat and serve immediately over white rice.
