๐Ÿฅ“ Enjoy a gourmet twist with Bacon Goat Cheese Burgers featuring savory bacon and creamy goat cheese paired with sweet fig jam.
๐Ÿ” Perfect for family dinners or summer parties, this recipe delivers rich flavors with a quick 22-minute total prep and cook time.

  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 6 burgers

Ingredients

– 2 pounds ground beef for a hearty base

– 4 cloves garlic, minced to add aromatic flavor

– 6 slices bacon, cooked for smoky crispiness

– 4 ounces goat cheese for creamy tang

Instructions

1-Gather ingredients and prep: Ready to get grilling? Iโ€™ll walk you through this step by step, just like I do in my kitchen. First, gather and prepare all your ingredients, including mincing the garlic and onion, and keeping the ground beef cold to keep it juicy. This helps everything come together smoothly without any rush.

2-Mix and form patties: Next, in a mixing bowl, combine the 2 pounds of ground beef with 4 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of minced onion, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to taste; mix until just combined to avoid tough patties. Then, form the mixture into six patties and place them on a plate or tray for easy handling.

3-Preheat and grill burgers: Preheat your grill to 450 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit (230-260 degrees Celsius) for that perfect sear. Grill the burgers for about 6 to 7 minutes for medium doneness, flipping once, until the internal temperature hits around 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius). You can add the goat cheese during the last minute on the grill or after, depending on how melty you like it.

4-Cook bacon separately or alongside: While the burgers rest, cook the 6 slices of bacon until crispy doing this alongside grilling saves time and cuts down on mess.

5-Assemble with fig jam, cheese, bacon, and arugula: To put it all together, spread 1/2 cup of fig jam on each top bun, then stack the patty on the bottom bun, followed by the goat cheese, cooked bacon, and 2 cups of arugula. Serve immediately to keep everything fresh and hot.
