– 1 cup cornstarch
– 1/2 cup vegetable oil

– 2 tablespoons orange juice
– 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
– 1 tablespoon green onions
– 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1-Whisk together 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1/2 cup honey, 2-3 tablespoons orange zest, 2 tablespoons orange juice, and 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for the sauce. Set aside.
2-Coat 2 pounds peeled and deveined shrimp (18-20 count) well with 1 cup cornstarch. Shake off excess for even coverage.
3-Heat 1/2 cup vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
4-Cook shrimp in batches, 2-3 minutes per side, until brown and crispy. Drain on a plate without paper towels to prevent steaming.
5-After all shrimp cook, drain oil from pan. Add sauce to pan, bring to simmer.
6-Toss shrimp in sauce, cook 15-20 seconds until thick and glossy.
7-Garnish with 1 tablespoon chopped green onions and 1 teaspoon sesame seeds. Serve hot.
