Ingredients

– 1 1/4 cups uncooked long-grain rice

– one 14.5-ounce can (approximately 435 ml) of beef broth

– one 10.5-ounce can (approximately 300 ml) of French onion soup

– one stick (113 grams) of cold butter

– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Grab an 8×8-inch baking dish.

2-Spread the rice: Pour 1 1/4 cups uncooked long-grain rice evenly into the dish. No need to rinse it.

3-Add liquids: Pour the 14.5-ounce can of beef broth and 10.5-ounce can of French onion soup over the rice. It will soak right in.

4-Top with butter: Slice the cold stick of butter (113 grams) into pats and place them evenly across the top.

5-Cover and bake: Tightly cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

6-Uncover and finish: Remove the foil and bake another 25 minutes until the top is lightly golden.

7-Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy hot.
