– 1 egg

Instructions

1-Prepare the goat cheese: Slice the goat cheese log into 6 disks. If using, mix the optional seasoning into the panko bread crumbs.

2-Create your breading station: Whisk the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to create an egg wash. Spread the flour onto a clean plate.

3-Coat the cheese: Coat each chilled goat cheese disk: first press into flour, dip into egg wash (coating both sides), then firmly press into the seasoned bread crumbs.

4-Fry to perfection: Heat olive oil in a shallow pan over medium heat. Fry the disks, flipping every 15 30 seconds until golden brown.

5-Drain and serve: Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and serve immediately for best results.
