Ingredients

– 1 whole chicken, about 3 ยฝ pounds

– 3 tablespoons melted butter moisturizer and browning agent

– 1 teaspoon salt

– ยฝ teaspoon pepper

– 1 bunch thyme

– 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (chopped) aromatic seasoning

– 1 head garlic, sliced in half horizontally flavor enhancer

– ยฝ onion

– Lemon slices finishing touch

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF and prepare your workspace by gathering all the ingredients youโ€™ll need.

2-Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Remove giblets if present. Tuck wings under the breast. Tie legs together with kitchen twine for even cooking.

3-Make the herb butter: In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme.

4-Season the chicken: Rub the butter mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin. This helps to flavor the meat from the inside out.

8-Rest before serving: Let the chicken rest, loosely covered, for 15 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring moist meat. Serve with lemon slices.
