– 1Β½ pounds ground chuck for base and protein

Instructions
1- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and lightly grease a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet with olive oil.
2- In a large bowl, combine the 1Β½ pounds ground chuck, Β½ medium yellow onion finely minced, 2 cloves garlic finely minced, 1 cup Italian bread crumbs, ΒΎ teaspoon kosher salt, ΒΌ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, ΒΌ teaspoon dried basil, β cup Worcestershire sauce, ΒΌ cup ketchup, and 1 whole egg lightly beaten.
3- Mix thoroughly by hand until well blended. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
4- Bake for 20 minutes, then remove and brush the top with two-thirds of the reserved β cup ketchup. Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.
5- Remove again, brush with the remaining ketchup, and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
