Ingredients

– 18 chicken wings

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1/2 teaspoon sugar

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika

– Cooking spray

– 1 cup barbecue sauce (preferably hickory smoke flavor)

– 1/2 cup honey

– 2 tablespoons butter

– 2 tablespoons hot sauce

– 4 tablespoons brown sugar

– 1/2 teaspoon vinegar

Instructions

1-Wash and dry the chicken wings. Season evenly with 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon paprika.

2-Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Lightly spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.

3-Arrange wings in a single layer. Bake 35-40 minutes, turn once halfway.

4-While baking, mix sauce: 1 cup barbecue sauce (hickory smoke best), 1/2 cup honey, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons hot sauce, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar. Simmer low heat to blend.

5-Wings done? Dip each in sauce, back on sheet. Bake 5 more minutes till bubbling.

6-Serve hot. Dig in!
