๐Ÿ”ฅ This simple recipe packs big flavor and cooks quickly, perfect for a nourishing meal any night.

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 pieces, 6 oz each Salmon filets

1/2 tsp Kosher salt

1/2 tsp Black pepper

1/2 tsp Smoked paprika or regular paprika

1/4 tsp Blackening seasoning (optional)

3 Tbsp Butter

2 tsp Olive oil

6 cloves Garlic, minced

1/2 cup Honey

3 Tbsp Water

3 Tbsp Soy sauce

1 Tbsp Sriracha sauce

2 Tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

1-First Step: Preparation Gather all your ingredients and tools first to make cooking smooth. Season the salmon filets with kosher salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. This mise en place step takes about 5 minutes and helps everything flow easily.

2-Second Step: Heat the Pan In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter with 2 teaspoons of olive oil over medium heat for about 2 minutes. This creates a non-stick surface and adds flavor to the salmon.

3-Third Step: Cook the Salmon Place the seasoned salmon filets skin-side down in the hot pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then flip them carefully. For the glaze, mix 1/2 cup honey, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon Sriracha, 6 minced garlic cloves, 3 tablespoons water, and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in a bowl.

4-Fourth Step: Add the Glaze Brush the glaze over the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting occasionally. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 145ยฐF for safety and perfect doneness. This step takes about 7-8 minutes total.

5-Final Step: Serve and Enjoy Remove the salmon from the heat and let it rest for 2 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides, like rice or veggies, to round out the meal. For a refreshing pairing, try our Brazilian lemonade recipe for a zesty drink that complements the flavors.
