1-Step 1: Prepare the Salmon Pat the salmon filets dry and season them with the salt, pepper, paprika, and blackening seasoning if youβre using it. This helps the flavors stick and gives the fish a nice base. Set them aside while you get the pan ready for cooking.
2-Step 2: Heat the Pan In a large pan, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat until the butter melts.
