๐Ÿ This Easy Pear Sauce is a naturally sweet and nutritious homemade treat, perfect for snacking or as a versatile topping.
โฐ Ready in under an hour, it’s a simple way to enjoy fresh pears with warming spices and flexible texture options.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: About 4 cups

Ingredients

– 8-10 pears, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1/4 cup water

– 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1-First, combine all the ingredients 8-10 peeled and cored pears cut into 1-inch pieces, 1/4 cup water, 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract in a large saucepan.

2-Next, bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 25-30 minutes until the pears soften.

3-Once softened, use an immersion blender to puree the sauce until it’s smooth, or mash it with a potato masher for a chunkier feel.

4-Finally, let the pearsauce cool before serving or storing it in the refrigerator for later use. It’s ready to enjoy as is or as a topping on your favorite foods.
