๐Ÿ“ Experience the natural sweetness and antioxidants from pomegranate and bananas combined in a healthy treat.

  • Total Time: 5 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 8 ounces of 100% pomegranate juice

– 8 to 10 medium bananas, peeled, chopped, and frozen

– 2 to 3 tablespoons coconut milk or milk of choice (such as almond milk or cowโ€™s milk, if not vegan)

Instructions

1-Peel and chop the bananas, then freeze them in a freezer-friendly bag to ensure they are ready for blending.

2-Once frozen, place the bananas in a powerful blender to form the base of your nice cream.

3-Add 8 ounces of 100% pomegranate juice and 2 to 3 tablespoons of milk of choice to the blender for the perfect mix.

4-Blend until the mixture is thick and creamy, adjusting as needed for the right consistency.

5-Pour the mixture into a standard loaf pan or bread pan, and cover with plastic wrap to prepare for freezing.

6-Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight to get that ideal frozen texture.

7-Before serving, remove from the freezer and let sit for about 10 minutes to soften, then scoop and enjoy with optional fresh fruit or mix-ins like chocolate chunks.

๐Ÿ“ Fresh fruit or dark chocolate can be added as mix-ins.
โณ Letting the dessert soften slightly after freezing makes it easier to scoop.
