🍝 Ravioli Lasagna Bake: Simple Italian Comfort Food is an easy, fuss-free meal that layers cheesy ravioli and rich marinara sauce for a satisfying dinner.
πŸ§€ This dish offers a quick way to enjoy classic Italian flavors baked to bubbly perfection that’s perfect for family gatherings or weeknight meals.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients

– 2 jars Marinara sauce

– 40 oz Frozen cheese ravioli (or beef or spinach cheese)

– 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/3 cup Chopped fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1-Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Spray a 9Γ—13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

2-First Layer: Spread half of one jar of marinara sauce (approximately 12.5 oz or 354g) evenly in the bottom of the dish.

3-Add Ravioli: Arrange half of the frozen ravioli (20 oz or approximately 567g) in an even layer over the sauce. There’s no need to thaw the ravioli first – it will cook perfectly in the oven!

4-Cheese Layer: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan evenly over the ravioli.

5-Second Layer: Create the next layer by spreading the remaining half of the first jar of sauce (approximately 12.5 oz or 354g) over the cheese. Add the second half of the frozen ravioli (20 oz or approximately 567g).

6-Final Sauce: Top the ravioli with the second full jar of marinara sauce (25 oz or approximately 709g).

7-Final Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the top.

8-Cover9-Bake Covered: Bake covered for 30 minutes. This allows the ravioli to cook through without the cheese getting too brown.

10-Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.

11-Rest and Serve: Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the layers set and makes serving easier.

12-Garnish: Garnish with chopped fresh basil, if desired, and serve warm!
